Consign with Style Machine
Sell your work in our shop, at events, and online.
How it works
- Ask to consign from your member dashboard and tell us about your work.
- If it’s a fit, we send you an agreement with your share of each sale.
- You read it and tick that you agree online. We list your items, and you can follow every sale and payout from your account.

Consignment Agreement
This agreement is between Style Machine ("we", "us") and the consignor ("you"), effective the date you sign.
1. Your goods
You keep ownership of the goods you consign until they sell. We may display and sell them in our shop, at events, at our point of sale, and online. You confirm that you own the goods, have the right to sell them, and that they are safe, lawful, and as described.
2. Prices
Retail prices are agreed between us in writing (email or message is fine) before an item is listed. We will not discount your goods without your agreement, except for store-wide promotions you have agreed to take part in.
3. The split
For each sale you receive your agreed share and Style Machine keeps the rest, calculated on the item's sale price after any discounts and before sales tax. We collect and remit sales tax. If a sale is refunded or returned, your share of that sale is reversed and deducted from what we next owe you.
4. Payouts
We pay the balance we owe you on the schedule in your agreement, using the payout method you give us, with a statement showing every sale the payment covers. You can see your sales, balance, and payouts at any time by signing in at stylemachine.art.
5. Care of goods
We take reasonable care of consigned goods while they are with us, but we are not an insurer. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage beyond our reasonable control. You may wish to insure your goods.
6. Ending the agreement
Either of us may end this agreement with 14 days' written notice by email. After it ends you will collect any unsold goods within 30 days, and we will pay any balance owed within 30 days.
7. Taxes
You are responsible for your own income taxes on your earnings. We may ask for a W-9 and issue tax forms where the law requires.

9. Agreeing electronically
By ticking "I agree" and selecting "Agree to these terms" while signed in to your Style Machine account, you accept this agreement and intend to be bound by it, and you agree that doing so has the same effect as a handwritten signature.
10. Different percentages for individual items
Some items may need a different split. You can ask for one when you submit an item; Style Machine will accept it or offer another percentage, and that item is only listed once we both agree. Style Machine may also propose a different percentage for an item already listed, which applies only if you agree. Everything else in this agreement still applies to those items.
