Refund Policy

Returns, exchanges, and how refunds work.

Returns window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return on most merchandise. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in original packaging with tags attached.

How to start a return

  1. Email email@stylemachine.art with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We'll reply within two business days with a return address and (where applicable) a prepaid label.
  3. Drop the package with the carrier within 14 days of receiving return instructions.

Refund processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll issue a refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank, the credit may take an additional billing cycle to appear.

Exchanges

We'll exchange for a different size or color subject to stock. If the requested item isn't available, we'll refund instead. Exchanges follow the same 30-day window as returns.

Final-sale and non-returnable items

  • Made-to-order, custom, or personalized pieces.
  • Items marked "final sale" on the product page.
  • Tarot decks, zines, and other printed matter once the seal/shrink-wrap is broken.
  • Gift cards.
  • Event tickets and RSVPs — covered separately under Terms.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll cover return shipping and either replace the item or refund in full.

Shipping costs on returns

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • We recommend tracked shipping; we're not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

Event ticket refunds

Event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by us. Cancelled-event ticket-holders will be refunded automatically to the original payment method, or — at the ticket-holder's option — issued a credit toward a future event.

Booking cancellations

Workshop and private-rental booking cancellations follow the cancellation window listed on the service page (typically 48 hours' notice for a full refund). No-shows forfeit the booking.
